A resident alerted neighbors on Saturday of an iPhone jacking in broad daylight near E Louisa St & 24th Ave E. Two men approached a 19-year-old female talking on an iPhone in front of her house, threw her to the ground and stole her phone. The suspects left the scene in a white pickup truck.
Increased reports of crime have come through the Forum in recent weeks including car prowls, vandalism and burglary. Recent sightings of a rock-throwing man may be connected to several thousand dollars of damage to parked cars along 23rd Ave E and near the Arboretum. In response, residents have increased block watch organization efforts.
As always, Seattle Police responses in the Montlake/Madison Park/Madrona beat “Charlie 3″ can be tracked in near-real-time, here.
